This moodboard has been developed as part of a Formula 1 beginner’s guide motion graphic project. As the work is intended to serve an educational purpose, the visual and thematic references include a range of key elements central to the sport. Among these are the representation of teams, the diversity of tracks across different countries, the system of racing flags, and the critical role of wheels and tire strategies. Additional aspects such as the operation of safety cars and other fundamental rules of the sport have also been incorporated to ensure a comprehensive overview. Together, these components provide a structured foundation for effectively introducing newcomers to the world of Formula 1.
This storyboard presents the process behind creating a Formula 1 beginner’s guide. It highlights important features of the sport, such as teams, tracks, flags, wheels, and safety rules. I included many facts about Formula 1 to give a broad picture, even though not all of them will appear in this first video yet. The storyboard is meant to show my approach in collecting information, organizing visuals, and building an easy to follow narrative for new Formula 1 audiences. Since Formula 1 has so many details to explore, this project should be planned as a series. Some topics are saved for a later stage. This way, the content stays engaging and leaves room for growth in the storytelling.
